At Basecamp Fitco, we don’t believe most people struggle because they lack effort — they struggle because they’ve never had a clear plan, real coaching, or the right environment to stay consistent.

That’s why we built something different.

We work with busy adults who are tired of starting over, tired of guessing what to do, and ready to finally see progress that lasts.

Every session here is coach-led, structured, and designed to help you get stronger, move better, and stay consistent — without feeling lost or overwhelmed.

Located in Plainville, MA, we proudly serve members from Wrentham, Foxboro, Mansfield, and surrounding areas who want more than just a place to work out — they want a system that actually works.

Why Basecamp Fitco exists. I opened Basecamp Fitco because I was tired of watching people get misled by bad advice and even worse coaching. The fitness world is full of noise-bro science, shortcuts, and “trainers” who don’t really know what they’re doing. I knew I could build something different. Something real. A place where people would be seen, coached with care, and pushed to be better in a safe and honest environment. At Basecamp, we’re hands-on. We care about progress, not perfection. We’ll call you when you miss class. We’ll celebrate your wins. We’ll hold you accountable to the goals you said you wanted-even on the hard days. This isn’t just a gym. It’s your starting point. That’s why we call it Basecamp. It’s the beginning of the climb. It’s where you pause, gather what you need, and surround yourself with people who want the same thing: to go further than they could alone. It’s safety and support. It’s where the next version of you gets built-one workout, one habit, one decision at a time.

Who is this for? It’s for anyone who’s had enough. Enough of feeling lost. Enough of trying to do it alone. Enough of bouncing between fads and wondering if any of it’s going to stick. We don’t do mirrors here. We don’t do judgment. We don’t do ego. What we do is coach, teach, and lift people up-day by day, with real movement, real conversations, and real effort. If that sounds like the kind of place you’ve been looking for, welcome to Basecamp. Let’s get to work.

Coach Jessica

CSM/Personal Trainer

I found fitness when I was at the heaviest I’d ever been and realized I needed to make a change. I had played softball in high school and some slow pitch in college, but after that, I didn’t really know what I was doing anymore. Like most people starting out, I joined a global gym, did a little bit of cardio, tried out a few machines—but honestly, I had no idea what I was doing.

When I finally joined a group class, everything changed. I realized how much work I had to do, how weak and unconfident I felt—but I also started to see progress. I was getting stronger, I felt better, and I loved the people I was surrounded by. Everyone had the same drive to improve, and that’s what hooked me. That’s when fitness really became my passion.

Coaching has always been part of who I am. I’ve managed teams, trained people, and helped others grow in different ways over the years—but when I found fitness coaching, it just clicked. I wanted to help people feel the same shift I did—to feel strong, confident, and capable again. My goal is to make fitness feel approachable for everyone. I want people to move well, build confidence, and find joy in the process.

If you’re new to fitness or just getting started, trust me—I’ve been there. I know how intimidating it can feel walking into a gym for the first time, and my job is to make sure you never feel alone in that process. Seeing someone go from unsure to unstoppable will always be one of my favorite parts of coaching.

When Dustin and I started Basecamp Fitco, our goal was simple—to build a space where everyone feels welcome, no matter their background or fitness level. We wanted more than just a gym. We wanted a community of people who show up for themselves and for each other, inside and outside the walls of Basecamp. It’s about support, growth, and reminding yourself that you’re stronger than you think.

I’m a sucker for workouts that are a grind—the kind that make you question why you started halfway through but leave you feeling so accomplished at the end. Outside the gym, you can usually find me hiking, on the water, or in the mountains with our Black Lab, Apollo (who’s basically our unofficial mascot). I also love a good book, quiet downtime, and recharging before the next adventure.

Coach Meg

Group Coach/Mobility Specialist

Hi, I’m Meg. Movement has been part of my life since childhood—I grew up playing soccer, basketball, softball, and dancing. In high school, I ran track (hurdles) and constantly pushed myself to keep up with my older siblings. In college, I rowed for the Villanova University Women’s Crew Team and worked in the campus fitness center, where I first found strength training and realized how empowering movement could be.

Today, exercise is my quiet in the storm of a busy life. It’s where I reset, find direction, and choose hope—because doing something healthy for myself today builds the strongest version of me tomorrow. I’m nine years sober and still a work in progress, and I believe movement is one of the most powerful tools for growth and resilience.

I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with additional certifications in TRX, Spin, and Assisted Stretch. I love both lifting heavy and HIIT-style training, and I believe every Body was made to move.

Outside the gym, I’m a mom of two girls and find peace through gardening, landscape design, and cooking.

Coach Tamera

Group Coach

Throughout my life, I’ve practiced various sports—swimming, gymnastics, ballet, tennis—but the one I truly fell in love with was CrossFit. I’ve always loved challenging myself, trying things that seem impossible, and surprising myself with what I’m capable of.

Because of this passion, I met my husband, who shares the same interests and dedication as I do. Now we have our beloved Chiara, and we strive to be an example for her, showing her how much physical activity benefits both the body and mind.

My intention is to help her fall in love with sports the way we have, because beyond all the well-known benefits, sports also prepare us for life. They teach us to chase our goals and remind us that results don’t always come quickly—but that the process itself is something to enjoy.
